Shell Trousers

The Blaklader Shell Hose is a weatherproof overtrouser built for anyone working outdoors in wind, rain and cold, whether on a construction site, in landscaping or in warehouse work. A high back waist, a side zip that runs up to the knee and a built-in snow guard make it easy to pull on over existing workwear, and it stays in place no matter how much you move. Removable elastic braces add extra support and can be taken off whenever they're not needed.

The outer fabric is coated Oxford polyester that is both waterproof and windproof, yet stays breathable so heat and moisture don't build up inside. All seams are taped to keep water out completely. A light mesh lining keeps the trousers comfortable to wear without adding bulk, while the reinforced knees and reinforced hem stand up to the daily wear and tear of physical work.

Certification to EN 343 confirms protection against rain, wind and cold, exactly the conditions outdoor workers face on a regular basis. The knee pad pockets accept knee pads sold separately and take the strain off your joints when kneeling, while the many pockets, including a ruler pocket, pen pocket and phone pocket, keep tools within easy reach. Subtle reflective details on the pockets and legs improve visibility in low light.

This makes the Shell Hose a strong fit for tradespeople, landscapers and warehouse workers who need dependable protection in any weather. Paired with the matching 4881 or 4988 jackets and the separately available 2183 nail pockets, the setup can be built out to suit the job.
