Product information "Schweißhandschuh Supreme Heat TIG"
The Supreme Heat TIG from Blaklader is a welding glove built specifically for TIG welding, where a steady hand, fine control and precise torch handling matter most. Rather than bulking up on padding, it stays slim and responsive, giving welders the feel they need for clean, accurate welds.
The palm is made from full-grain goatskin, giving the glove a soft, supple feel and excellent finger sensitivity, exactly what TIG work demands. On the little-finger side, where wear tends to be heaviest during welding, a split cowhide reinforcement adds extra durability right where it counts. The extended split leather cuff reaches well past the wrist, protecting the lower arm while handling the torch. The glove is stitched with heat-resistant Kevlar thread, keeping the seams stable even under heat exposure, and it is unlined, which further supports the fine tactile feel needed for precision work.
On the protection side, the glove is tested to EN 388 and EN 407, covering mechanical risks such as abrasion, cuts and puncture along with resistance to heat and flame. EN 12477 Type B is the dedicated standard for welding gloves and confirms the glove meets welding-specific requirements, with Type B reserved for models offering higher dexterity, a good match for TIG work. It also meets the general glove standard EN ISO 21420 and is classified as PPE Category 2.
This makes the Supreme Heat TIG a strong choice for welders working in hot, dirty environments who need precision above all, particularly during TIG welding where fine motor control and material handling determine weld quality.
