The NITRAS WELDER PRO is a welding glove built for anyone working around sparks and contact heat on a daily basis. At 35 cm long, it covers far more than just the hand, extending well past the wrist to protect the lower forearm too, a detail that matters when welding overhead or in tight, awkward positions.
The glove combines full-grain and split leather in an ocher and grey finish, striking a balance between flexibility and toughness. Full-grain leather reinforces the areas that take the most wear, while split leather keeps the overall glove supple enough to handle tools and torches with confidence. The seams are stitched with Kevlar thread, so they hold even if a spark lands directly on them. Inside, the glove is unlined, which makes it thinner and gives better grip than a padded glove, though it also means it suits moderate heat and fine motor tasks rather than prolonged cold exposure.
Tested against contact heat, the WELDER PRO withstands 100 °C for 15 seconds, enough time to set down or push aside a hot workpiece or stray spark without risk of burns. As Category II PPE, it is designed for medium-risk tasks typical of everyday welding work in workshops and industrial settings.
