This Blaklader welding glove is built for anyone who needs reliable protection without giving up feel for the work at hand. Its close fit keeps dexterity intact, which makes it a strong choice for precision tasks such as TIG welding, where fine control matters as much as safety.
The full-grain goatskin leather on both the palm and back of the hand is tough yet stays supple enough for a confident grip, even in dirty or hot working conditions. Seams are sewn with heat-resistant aramid thread that holds up under high temperatures, and the extended split-leather cuff keeps sparks and welding spatter away from the forearms. Being unlined, the glove stays slim and flexible while still delivering solid base protection.
Certification to EN 388 covers protection against mechanical hazards such as abrasion, cuts and puncture, while EN 407 confirms resistance to heat and flame. The EN 12477 Type B rating is specific to welding gloves and additionally recognises good finger dexterity despite the heat protection built in. Together, these standards mean the glove is equipped for both the thermal and mechanical demands of everyday welding work.
