The Tector® Champ is a frameless safety glasses model designed for everyday industrial and trade use, wherever eyes need protection from splashes, flying particles or strong sunlight. Weighing only around 31 grams, it is one of the lighter models in its class, making it comfortable to wear over extended periods without pressing uncomfortably on the nose.
Both the lens and frame are made from polycarbonate, with a grey-tinted lens and a black frame. This material combination is impact-resistant yet lightweight, which is noticeable the moment you put the glasses on. The coating keeps the lens scratch-resistant even with frequent handling and prevents fogging, a real benefit when temperatures fluctuate or during physical exertion. The frameless design also keeps the field of vision wide open, without edges getting in the way.
The glasses meet the EN 166 standard, providing protection against high-speed particles even at extreme temperatures ranging from -5 to +55 degrees Celsius, indicated by the FT marking. The lens also includes a sun protection filter for industrial use along with UV 400 protection, shielding the eyes from UV radiation. This makes the Champ a reliable choice both for mechanical hazards and for intense sun exposure on site.
