The Tychem® 6000 F protective coverall is built for tasks where standard disposable suits are not enough. With attached socks and knee-length boot covers, it seals the transition to footwear completely, making it suitable for anyone who needs uninterrupted protection when handling hazardous chemicals or biological agents.
The Tychem® F outer material is designed to resist a wide range of organic and highly concentrated inorganic chemicals. The seams are sewn and additionally heat-sealed with barrier tape, giving them the same protective performance as the material itself – addressing a common weak point of disposable suits. Elasticated cuffs at the hood, arms and legs, plus an elasticated waist, keep the suit fitted close to the body even during movement. Thumb loops and a double self-adhesive cover over the zip and chin area help prevent liquids or particles from getting in at these critical points.
The suit meets PSA category 3 and covers types 3-B, 4-B, 5-B and 6-B: liquid-tight to EN 14605, spray-tight also to EN 14605, particle-tight to EN ISO 13982-1, and limited splash-tight to EN 13034. It is additionally blood- and virus-tight to EN 14126, offers protection against radioactive particle contamination to EN 1073-2, and features an antistatic inner layer to EN 1149-5. This makes it suitable for work involving chemicals, infectious agents or radioactive particles, such as in the chemical industry, hazardous goods handling, decontamination work, or medical and biological settings.
The suit is supplied as bulk packaging with a minimum order of 20 units, sourced on request, and is available in sizes M to 3XL.
