The CBFR coverall from the Lakeland product line is a flame-retardant disposable suit designed for tasks where splashes of liquids or fine particles need to be reliably kept out. Its three-piece hood, elasticated cuffs, ankles, hood and back, along with the zip fastener under a double storm flap with hook-and-loop closure, keep the suit close to the body so no gaps open up during movement.
The outer layer is made of a fire-resistant PVC barrier film, while the inner side features a viscose fleece substrate that makes the suit noticeably more comfortable against the skin. Taped seams close off the stitching lines against leaks, and the double-layered, padded knee pads make kneeling work far less strenuous. The antistatic finish dissipates electrical charge, a real benefit wherever sparks or static discharge pose a risk.
The suit meets EN 14605 and is classified under PSA/PPE Category III as Type 3 and Type 4. In practice this means protection against pressurised liquid jets (Type 3) and fine liquid spray (Type 4), making it suitable for work involving chemical liquids, cleaning agents or other aggressive substances where dependable all-round protection is required.
The CBFR is supplied as bulk goods with a minimum order of 10 units, making it a practical choice for businesses that need to keep disposable coveralls in several sizes on hand, for example in the chemical industry, cleaning and remediation work, or any job involving hazardous liquids.
