This nitrile-dipped cut-resistant glove from Blaklader is designed for tradespeople and sheet metal workers who need a reliable grip and cut protection during heavy, oily or dirty jobs. As a metal-fibre-free all-round glove, it suits assembly work, metalwork and other demanding tasks where hands are under strain for extended periods.
The 15-gauge inner material, made from HPPE, polyester, polyamide, glass fibre and elastane, gives the glove a sturdy yet flexible base, while the palm is coated in nitrile with a sandy grip texture. This microporous coating lets the hand breathe while staying soft and stretchy, so the glove remains comfortable even over long shifts. The reinforced thumb crotch withstands extra friction at one of the most stressed points of the glove, extending its working life. Being unlined and chrome-free, it also stays pleasant to wear with regular use.
Under EN 388, the glove achieves the 4X42B rating, meaning solid protection against abrasion, tear, puncture and, most importantly, cuts: the B stands for cut protection level B, a medium-to-high level of cut resistance suited to work with metal or sharp-edged materials. It also meets the basic requirements for hand protection under EN ISO 21420 and falls under PPE category 2, covering protection against medium risks.
Thanks to its grip on oily and dirty surfaces combined with protection against sharp edges, the glove works well for assembly tasks, metalworking and other heavy-duty jobs in everyday trade use. Supplied in packs of 6 pairs and cartons of 144 pairs, it is also a practical choice for businesses with regular glove needs.
