This tubular scarf from Rofa's Multinorm Accessories line is designed for anyone who needs extra protection around the neck area underneath protective workwear. Worn together with multi-standard protective clothing, it closes the gap between jacket and helmet or head protection, and its one-size cut makes it easy to fit under different gear.
The knit fabric is an interlock construction made from 60% modacrylic, 38% cotton and 2% other fibres, weighing around 210 g/sqm. This blend gives the scarf a dense yet stretchy feel against the skin, comfortable rather than scratchy, while holding its shape well even with frequent putting on and taking off during a shift.
The scarf is tested to EN ISO 15025 Procedure A, which assesses how the fabric surface resists the spread of flame, and to EN 1149-3, covering the antistatic properties of the knit, relevant for environments with an increased risk of sparks or ignition. This makes it a practical addition wherever flame-resistant and antistatic protective clothing is already required, such as in industrial settings, welding work or explosion-hazard zones.
