The Nitras SONIC STEP is a safety shoe with a sporty look that moves well beyond the traditional workwear silhouette without cutting back on protection. It suits anyone who spends long hours on their feet at work and wants footwear that feels light and modern rather than bulky. The durable textile upper in black and blue, paired with a resilient EVA/nitrile outsole, makes it a versatile choice across a wide range of jobs.
The textile upper is built to withstand daily wear while staying pleasantly lightweight on the foot. The COMFORT STEP insole is ergonomically shaped and keeps comfort levels high even during long shifts. A heel lining makes the shoe easy to put on and take off, and the reinforced heel in sturdy microfibre adds extra stability where it matters most. The outsole is designed for maximum slip resistance, so the shoe holds up well on demanding surfaces too.
As an S1P safety shoe, the SONIC STEP includes a fibreglass toe cap that protects toes from impact and compression, plus a puncture-resistant textile midsole that is completely metal-free and therefore lighter than a traditional steel plate. Certification under DGUV Regel 112-191 confirms its suitability as a safety shoe for professional use, and the ESD rating makes it suitable for environments where static discharge needs to be controlled. Classified as PPE risk category II, it is built for tasks involving a moderate level of hazard.
