The Blaklader STRIKER craftsman shorts are built for anyone who needs freedom of movement and tools within easy reach on site or in the workshop, from carpenters and electricians to plumbers, sheet metal workers and warehouse staff. They stand out for their range of functional pockets, including a reinforced rule pocket with a knife holder and pen pocket, plus the extra-wide, detachable nail pockets fitted with tool hooks and zippered compartments. A women's version is also available as model 7175.
The fabric is a 2-way CORDURA® stretch twill at 340 g/m² with improved colour fastness and durability, so it holds up well under repeated wear. Added 4-way stretch panels at the crotch and back yoke mean bending, kneeling and long strides never feel restricted, while ventilation built into the back yoke keeps things more comfortable on warmer days. The raised back waistband gives extra protection when kneeling, and the CORDURA®-reinforced pockets stand up to sharp-edged tools.
A set of practical details rounds out the shorts: a detachable hammer loop, a removable ID pocket, an adjustable waist with D-ring, and black reflective stripes on the back of the leg for better visibility in low light. The plastic zip at the crotch and the triple-stitched inseam are built to withstand daily wear on the job. Matching accessories such as tool pouches 2176 and 2177 or the hammer holder adapter 2114 can be added as needed.
