This wheelchair ramp set from Feldtmann turns the 3-channel cable bridge (order no. 8232) into a barrier that wheelchair users can safely cross. Instead of climbing over a raised edge, one ramp is simply placed against each long side of the cable bridge, with no assembly required. That makes the set a practical solution wherever cables or hoses have to be routed temporarily but accessibility still matters, such as at events, on construction sites or in public buildings. Rollators, prams and sack trucks can pass over the ramps just as easily.
The ramps are made from recycled rubber, giving them a sturdy, weather-resistant base that works equally well indoors and outdoors. The surface has a textured, slip-resistant finish so that wheelchairs and rollators keep a reliable grip even in wet conditions. At 16 kilograms for the complete set of two ramps, they are heavy enough to stay in place once positioned, yet still manageable to handle.
Rated for loads up to 200 kilograms, the ramps also protect the cables and hoses underneath from damage, while the lid of the cable bridge can still be opened even with the ramps in place. One set consists of two individual ramps measuring 744 x 441 x 75 mm and is supplied as a complete unit. Note that this wheelchair ramp is not approved for use in public road traffic.
