This two-piece ratchet lashing strap from inba is built for securing loads on vehicles, trailers and in transport vans. With a 50 mm webbing width and a length of 8 metres, it suits medium to larger loads typical in commercial haulage, trades work, or when loading machinery and building materials. Fitted with claw hooks, a safety spring and an ergonomic long-handle ratchet, it makes fastening and tensioning noticeably easier, even with heavier loads.
The strap is made from polyester, a material known for handling tensile loads well while resisting weather exposure. In daily use, that means the strap keeps performing reliably through repeated loading and unloading, rain or cold, without stretching out prematurely. The long-handle ratchet with ergonomic grip reduces the effort needed to reach the required pre-tension compared with basic ratchet mechanisms.
The strap is tested to DIN EN 12195-2, the standard covering man-made fibre lashing straps used for load securing on the road. Among other things, it defines the tensile forces a strap must safely withstand. With a lashing capacity (LC) of 2000 daN and a standard tension force (STF) of 500 daN, this strap is designed for use in commercial goods transport. The TÜV/GS mark confirms the product's tested safety on top of that.
