This ratchet lashing strap from Feldtmann is a one-piece tie-down designed for securing loads on vans, trailers and trucks. It suits anyone who needs a dependable way to fasten cargo without dealing with a two-part system made up of a separate ratchet and loose end. Available in lengths of 2, 4, 5 and 6 metres, it can be matched to the load area and cargo in question.
The strap is made from 25 mm wide polyester webbing. Polyester offers high tensile strength and very little stretch under load, so it keeps its shape even with regular use and holds the lashing securely in place over time. The built-in ratchet mechanism lets you tighten the strap with minimal effort while still achieving a firm, reliable hold on the load.
The strap is tested to DIN EN 12195-2, the standard covering web lashing straps made from man-made fibres for road transport load securing. Among other things, it defines the permissible tension: this strap has a Lashing Capacity (LC) of 500 daN and a Standard Tension Force (STF) of 125 daN, figures suited to securing light to medium loads. It is additionally TÜV/GS tested, indicating independent safety assessment.
For trade buyers, the strap is also available as bulk packaging in units of 50, making it a practical choice for equipping fleets or stocking up warehouse supplies.
