This two-part ratchet tie-down strap from Feldtmann is designed for securing loads in commercial transport as well as for private trailer use. Fitted with claw hooks at both ends, it can be attached directly to lashing points or eyelets, while the ratchet mechanism provides the necessary tension. The strap is available in lengths from 2 to 14 metres, making it easy to choose the right size for different load dimensions.
The strap is made from 50 mm wide polyester webbing, a material known for its high tensile strength combined with a degree of elasticity that makes it easier to retighten the strap when loads shift during transport. Polyester also absorbs very little moisture, so the strap stays supple and holds its shape even in changing weather conditions, making it a durable choice for regular daily use.
The strap is manufactured to DIN EN 12195-2, the standard for man-made fibre webbing lashings used to secure loads on road vehicles. With a lashing capacity (LC) of 2000 daN and a standard tension force (STF) of 300 daN, it offers enough strength to secure loads safely within the specified limits. The TÜV/GS certification further confirms that the product has undergone independent safety testing.
The tie-down strap suits hauliers, trade businesses and van rental companies, as well as private users who regularly secure loads on trailers or flatbeds. As it is supplied in packs of 10, it is also a practical choice for fleets and commercial buyers needing larger quantities.
