The RUNNEX® S3S ESD safety shoes atop SportStar combine a sporty, modern design with everything a reliable safety shoe needs to deliver. They suit anyone working in demanding environments who doesn't want to compromise on protection but still values freedom of movement and everyday comfort. Available in sizes 36 to 48, they cover a wide range of foot sizes, making them a practical choice for teams with varied needs.
The upper is made from hydrophobic textile material, so it repels water, and is reinforced with TPU elements around the eyelets, toe cap, and heel area, exactly where the shoe takes the most strain. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining keeps the foot climate pleasant, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds extra comfort where the foot meets the shoe. A rubber outsole with a Phylon midsole provides cushioning, keeping the shoe comfortable even during long shifts on your feet.
As an S3S shoe certified to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024, the SportStar protects against mechanical hazards such as impact and compression, is waterproof, and offers slip resistance, with FO indicating that the sole resists fuel oil. Its ESD properties, certified to EN 61340-5-1:2016, ensure controlled dissipation of electrostatic charge, which matters wherever electronic components or sensitive equipment are handled. Compliance with DGUV112-191 confirms its suitability as a safety shoe for professional use.
