The RUNNEX® FlexStar is a safety sandal designed for anyone who needs reliable protection without giving up comfort when temperatures rise. Its easy velcro entry and open, breathable construction make it a strong choice for industrial and logistics environments where freedom of movement and airflow around the foot matter just as much as safety compliance.
The microfibre upper with textile inserts keeps the sandal light and flexible, while the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining adds further breathability throughout the day. The RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining reduces pressure points around the heel, and the black PU outsole with coloured PU midsole, combined with RUNNEX® activeBumper cushioning, delivers a springy step that helps reduce fatigue during long shifts.
The sandal meets EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 in class S1PS FO, meaning it includes a protective toe cap, resistance to penetration and a fuel-resistant outsole. The RUNNEX® Alu-Protect toe cap guards reliably against impact and compression at the toes. Thanks to ESD properties tested to EN 61340-4-3:2001, the FlexStar is also suitable for workplaces where controlled discharge of static electricity is required, and the additional DGUV112-191 assessment confirms its suitability for professional use.
This makes the FlexStar a solid option for industry, trades, warehousing and logistics, particularly in dry environments and at ESD workstations where lightweight footwear with full protective performance is needed.
