The RUNNEX® GirlStar is a safety shoe built specifically for women's feet: rather than a scaled-down men's design, it is made on a genuine women's last, which makes a real difference in fit. With its sporty, fashionable styling, it combines contemporary looks with everyday comfort, making it a strong choice for women who want safety footwear that doesn't feel like an afterthought.
The upper is made from RUNNEX® Knit technology, a practically seamless polyester knit fabric that feels soft and flexible while reducing pressure points. TPU toe and heel protection adds stability exactly where it's needed. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining keeps the foot climate comfortable, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining provides extra cushioning around the heel. A rubber outsole with Phylon midsole delivers shock absorption and comfort during long working days.
The shoe meets EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 in safety class S1PS FO, meaning that as Category II PPE it includes a toe protection cap, a penetration-resistant midsole and a fuel-resistant outsole. It also carries ESD certification to EN 61340-4-3:2001, so it safely dissipates static electricity, protecting sensitive components and equipment from electrostatic discharge.
This makes the GirlStar well suited to work in industry, trades, warehousing and logistics, as well as dry environments and ESD workstations where reliable foot protection and static dissipation both matter.
