The RUNNEX® TeamStars is an S1 safety sandal designed for anyone who needs reliable protection even when temperatures rise. Instead of a fully enclosed shoe, it offers an open sandal design with hook-and-loop straps and a heel strap, making it quick and easy to put on and take off. It's built for people working in dry environments who value freedom of movement and a cool, comfortable fit without giving up on safety.
The nubuck leather upper with textile inserts strikes a balance between durability and flexibility. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining keeps the foot climate pleasant, while the RUNNEX® EVA cushioning system absorbs impact during walking and standing. The 2-density PU/PU sole combines stability with a degree of springiness, resulting in a bouncy, low-fatigue feel over long shifts. The full-surface insole can also be swapped out for compatible footbeds, allowing the sandal to be adapted to individual needs.
Protection comes from a steel toe cap, RUNNEX® Steel-Protection, which shields the toes from impact and compression. The sandal is certified to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 in safety class S1 FO, which includes features such as antistatic properties, fuel-resistant soling and an enclosed heel area. It also meets the requirements of DGUV112-191 and is classified as PPE Category II, intended for applications with a medium level of risk.
This makes the TeamStars a strong choice for industry, trades, warehousing and logistics – anywhere with dry flooring where a lightweight, breathable safety shoe is needed during summer months or in consistently warm working conditions.
