With the SportStar, RUNNEX® introduces a safety shoe that breaks away from traditional workwear looks. Its sock-sneaker construction gives it a modern, athletic appearance, making it a strong choice for anyone working in industry, trade, warehousing or logistics who wants contemporary design without compromising on protection.
The upper is made from RUNNEX® Knit technology, a virtually seamless knitted polyester fabric with TPU overlays. In everyday use, this translates into an exceptionally smooth, flexible fit right from the start, as seamless knit constructions reduce pressure points and adapt naturally to the shape of the foot. The pressure-free, elastic collar further supports freedom of movement, whether putting the shoes on quickly or moving around during a long shift. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining together with the heel lining helps keep the foot climate pleasant throughout the day.
Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 in safety class S1 with the additional FO marking, the SportStar provides essential protection for dry working environments: the S1 classification includes a protective toe cap and antistatic properties, while the FO marking indicates a fuel-oil resistant outsole. As PPE category II, the shoe is designed for use where medium-level risks are present.
This makes the SportStar particularly suitable for dry work settings in production halls, workshops, warehouses or logistics centres, where comfort and a modern look matter just as much as dependable basic protection.
