The RUNNEX® LightStar is an S1 safety shoe designed for anyone who wants dependable protection without the bulk of a heavy work shoe. It suits people working in dry environments who need footwear that stays comfortable throughout a full shift rather than weighing them down.
The microfiber upper combined with textile inserts keeps the shoe light and flexible, so it feels comfortable even after hours on your feet. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining keeps air circulating to manage moisture and heat, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds cushioned support around the heel. The rubber outsole with Phylon midsole delivers noticeable shock absorption, easing strain on joints during long periods of standing or walking.
As an S1 shoe certified to EN ISO 20345:2022, the LightStar provides essential protection for dry work environments: the RUNNEX® aluminium toe cap guards against impact and compression, and the FO rating confirms the outsole's resistance to fuel oil. This makes it a solid choice wherever mechanical hazards are a concern but water or penetration protection isn't required.
