The RUNNEX® TeamStars is an S1 safety sandal designed for anyone who needs reliable protection even when temperatures rise. Hook-and-loop fastenings and a heel strap make it quick to put on and take off while still delivering the full functionality of a safety shoe, which is a real advantage wherever sandals are worn and removed frequently or an easy fit matters.
The microfibre upper with textile inserts keeps the sandal light and airy, while the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining and SOFTtouch heel lining help maintain a comfortable climate around the foot. The dual-density PU/PU sole, combined with the RUNNEX® EVA cushioning system and the full-surface footbed, keeps the shoe noticeably lightweight yet durable enough for a full working day.
As an S1 shoe certified to EN ISO 20345:2011, the TeamStars protects the toes with a RUNNEX® aluminium toe cap against impact and compression. Its ESD properties, tested to EN 61340-5-1:2016, safely dissipate electrostatic charge, making it relevant for workplaces where electronic components or sensitive equipment need protection from static discharge. The additional DGUV112-191 classification further confirms its protective performance. Falling under PSA category II, the shoe is rated for medium-risk environments.
This makes the TeamStars well suited to dry areas in industry, trades, warehousing and logistics, as well as ESD workstations that call for a lightweight, well-ventilated safety shoe with dissipative properties.
