The RUNNEX® FlexStar is an S1 safety shoe with ESD protection from the latest generation of the activeBumper range. It's built for anyone who wants sporty looks and genuine all-day comfort on the job without giving up on safety. Available in blue/white across 13 sizes from 36 to 48, it fits a wide range of feet and work settings.
The breathable mesh upper keeps feet cool over long shifts, while TPU reinforcements at the toe and heel strengthen the areas that take the most wear. Inside, the RUNNEX® SPORTY functional lining combined with the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining gives the shoe a comfortable, trainer-like feel. The blue PU outsole with white PU midsole and the RUNNEX® activeBumper cushioning absorb impact noticeably while walking and standing, which makes a real difference during long periods on your feet.
On the safety side, the shoe is tested to EN ISO 20345:2022 in class S1 FO, covering toe protection and fuel resistance among other things. Certification to EN 61340-5-1:2016 confirms its ESD properties, meaning it safely dissipates static charge and is suitable for workplaces where sensitive electronic components need protection from static discharge. The additional reference to DGUV112-191 places the shoe within the relevant occupational safety guidelines. As PSA category II equipment, it meets standard requirements for industrial foot protection.
This makes the FlexStar a strong choice for dry environments in industry, trades, and logistics, as well as for ESD workstations where controlling static discharge is essential.
