The RUNNEX® O2 ESD SportStar work shoes are built for anyone who spends long shifts on their feet on smooth or wet floors while still wanting comfort and safety in one package. Finished in white and available in 13 sizes from 36 to 48, they suit both men and women and fit easily into a uniform dress code.
The upper is made from hydrophobic microfibre material with TPU trims, keeping moisture out and holding up well in wet working conditions. Inside, the RUNNEX® SPORTY functional lining with its antibacterial finish keeps feet feeling fresh through a full shift, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds secure fit around the heel. The rubber outsole with Phylon midsole and RUNNEX® activeBumper cushioning in the footbed really pays off during long standing hours, taking noticeable pressure off joints and lower back.
As an ESD shoe certified to EN 61340-5-1:2016, the SportStar safely discharges static electricity, which matters on jobs involving sensitive electronics or in areas with explosion risk. It also meets DGUV112-191 and is certified as a category II PPE work shoe under EN ISO 20347:2022, making it suitable for roles with elevated safety demands that don't call for a protective toe cap.
That combination makes the SportStar a strong fit for kitchens, catering and hospitality (HoReCa) settings as well as food industry environments, where hygienic, slip-resistant footwear is essential. It's equally suited to ESD workstations such as electronics assembly and manufacturing, where controlling static discharge is critical.
