The RUNNEX® activeFit slim insole is designed for anyone who wants to fine-tune the fit of their safety footwear to their individual foot shape. It's part of the RUNNEX® width-adjustment system, created precisely for this purpose: since every foot is different and works hard all day long, swapping in the right insole lets you dial in the fit rather than settling for a generic one.
At its core is the Titan X-MAX Cushion technology with a textile cover. In practice, this means noticeable cushioning under load and a soft, textile feel against the foot, without any clammy or uncomfortable sensation. That extra padding really makes a difference over the course of a long shift, especially when standing for extended periods or moving around on hard floors.
The insole itself doesn't fall under its own PPE category, but it's intended for use in safety shoes certified to EN ISO 20345:2011 – the standard that the compatible shoe models meet. The protective performance therefore comes from the combination of shoe and insole working together, not from the insole on its own.
The activeFit slim fits the RUNNEX TeamStars models 5309, 5310, 5313 and 5314, as well as the FlexStars models 5178 and 5370. That makes it a practical option for wearers of these shoes who want to refine their fit, for example those with narrower or more sensitive feet in demanding daily work environments.
