The RUNNEX® ESD summer socks are built for anyone who needs reliable comfort in safety or casual footwear during warm weather, without giving up practical extras. The blended fabric combines everyday wearability with real functional benefits, making it a good fit for both professionals and active off-duty wearers who appreciate thoughtful details in their gear.
The sock is made from a mix of polyester COOLMAX fibre, polyamide, cotton and elastane. The COOLMAX® fibre moves moisture away from the foot, which makes a noticeable difference on hot days by keeping feet drier and more comfortable for longer. The elastic cuff sits snugly around the leg without cutting in, so the sock stays comfortable even through a full working day.
Thanks to the REPEL treatment built into the fabric, the sock provides long-term protection against mosquitoes and ticks. The active ingredient is activated during the first wash and remains effective over many wash cycles: 91% effectiveness after 50 washes, 84% after 80 washes, and 75% after 100 washes. The sock also has ESD properties that help dissipate electrostatic charge, which matters for anyone working in ESD-sensitive environments. This item does not fall under a specific PPE category.
This makes the sock suitable both for wear inside safety footwear at work and in casual shoes during outdoor activities where tick exposure is a concern. Available in four sizes from 35 to 50, supplied in pairs on a hangtag.
