The boot liner with cord cuff is a warming insert designed to be pulled into boots, wellingtons or other roomy footwear to make them noticeably more comfortable to wear. It suits anyone who spends long hours outdoors or in cold conditions and wants to add extra warmth to existing footwear without buying new winter boots.
The backing fabric is made from 100% polyester, giving the liner enough stability to stay in place and keep its shape when the boot is put on and taken off. The pile, made from 100% lambswool, sits directly against the foot and provides the actual warmth – lambswool wicks moisture away while still keeping feet warm even if the inside of the boot gets damp. The cord cuff, made from 100% cotton, finishes off the top edge and seals the transition to trouser leg or calf, so cold air cannot get in from above.
In practice, this liner is mainly used by people who stand or walk for long periods in cold conditions, such as on construction sites, in agriculture, forestry or other outdoor winter work. Available in natural colour and sizes 39 to 48, it covers almost every common shoe size.
