The Portwest Texo Contrast Shorts TX14 are workwear shorts built for anyone who wants comfort without giving up practicality on warm days. The elasticated waistband allows full freedom of movement, while the contrast colour panels give the shorts a modern, sporty look. With seven pockets in total, the TX14 offers plenty of room to carry tools, a phone and other small items throughout the working day.
The high cotton content in the fabric makes a real difference against the skin, keeping the shorts comfortable to wear even over a long shift. Because the material is shrink-resistant, the shorts keep their shape wash after wash, which matters for workwear that goes through the laundry regularly. They can be machine washed at 60 °C, keeping care simple for everyday use.
The pocket layout is well thought through: alongside two side pockets and two back pockets, there's a thigh pocket, a dedicated pen pocket and a separate phone pocket. A handy D-ring at the hip holds keys or an ID card within easy reach but securely fastened. All stress points are bar-tacked to hold up under repeated movement, and the partly elasticated waistband flexes with the body instead of digging in.
The TX14 suits any physically active outdoor or warm-environment job, from trades and warehouse work to landscaping and grounds maintenance. Available in Black, Grey and Navy, and in sizes XS to XXL, they fit easily into an existing workwear line-up.
