The Portwest Compositelite Traction 7-inch boot is a tall safety boot purpose-built for the oil and gas industry. Its side zip allows for quick on-and-off wear without compromising fit, a detail that matters when speed is essential on site. The wide fit and angled top line give extra freedom of movement for the legs when walking or standing for long periods.
The full-grain leather upper makes the boot tough and durable, keeping feet warm in cold conditions while still breathing well when temperatures rise. Combined with the waterproof membrane and the bellows tongue construction, this keeps feet dry in wet environments, while the engineered ankle support and energy-absorbing seat area provide comfort and stability through long shifts.
As an S7L boot with ESD properties, this model is built entirely metal-free, non-magnetic and free of nickel and iron, delivering reliable protection through its composite toe cap and puncture-resistant composite midsole without interfering with metal detectors or ESD-sensitive environments. The outsole is oil and fuel resistant, slip resistant and heat resistant up to 300°C, a crucial safety factor when working near hot surfaces or chemical exposure.
