Product information "Parka Mellum"
The Parka Mellum is a padded winter jacket designed for anyone working outdoors in wind, rain and cold. Its adjustable hood built into the collar, wind-guard cuffs and adjustable hem let you tailor the fit to the weather and your build, while the concealed two-way front zip keeps the front sealed against the elements.
The outer fabric is PU-coated polyester, which repels water without feeling stiff or heavy to wear. Combined with welded rather than stitched seams, the seam lines stay watertight too, so moisture stays out where it matters. The polyester wadding provides warmth without restricting freedom of movement. Three pocket types, including a chest pocket and an inner pocket with hook-and-loop fastening, offer plenty of room for tools, a phone or paperwork, while the hip pockets with flaps and side slip pockets also double as hand warmers.
The parka meets EN 343 class 3/1/X, giving reliable protection against rain and wind while still allowing good breathability. It is also certified to EN 17353 type B3, a standard for protective clothing with enhanced visibility features for reduced-light conditions, delivered here through the reflective stripes running around the body and sleeves.
This makes the Parka Mellum well suited to outdoor work in all weather, from construction sites and road work to logistics and municipal services, where both visibility and weather protection are essential.
