The Parka J409171 from Rofa is a weatherproof winter jacket built for anyone who works outdoors in cold, wet conditions and needs to stay visible while doing it. With its stand-up collar, roll-up and detachable hood, and adjustable hem and cuffs, it adapts easily to changing weather and different kinds of movement on the job.
The jacket is constructed in three layers. The outer shell is made from PU-coated polyester weighing around 150 g/sqm, keeping wind and moisture out, while a polyester mesh lining underneath helps maintain a comfortable microclimate. The real warmth comes from the removable inner jacket in microfleece, weighing around 270 g/sqm. It attaches to the outer shell with press-stud tabs and can also be worn on its own as a separate fleece jacket, which makes the parka useful well beyond the depths of winter and considerably more flexible than a single-layer jacket.
The details are equally well thought out: the front zip is shielded by a hook-and-loop placket, two side pockets with flap and zip provide secure storage, and the fleece inner jacket has its own zippered pockets. All-round 50 mm reflective stripes across the body, sleeves and shoulders improve visibility in poor light.
