The PW3 cap is designed for anyone working outdoors who needs dependable weather protection for their head, whether on a construction site, in landscaping, or on patrol in the rain. With five-panel construction, it sits comfortably on the head, while the rear adjuster keeps it secure even when worn under a jacket hood.
The fabric is hardwearing, breathable, windproof and water-repellent all at once, which in practice means the cap stays comfortable during long outdoor shifts while still holding up against wind and wet weather. The seams are taped rather than simply stitched, so no water can get through at these points, making a real difference during sustained rain.
Reflective piping on the peak and the reflective Portwest logo add extra visibility in low light, a genuine benefit for anyone working early mornings, evenings, or near traffic. The fabric also carries a UPF 40+ rating and blocks 98% of UV rays, giving noticeable skin protection during full days spent outdoors.
