The Falkenberg PU stretch jacket is a weatherproof work jacket for anyone who spends their working day outdoors in wind and rain. Whether on construction sites, in outdoor storage areas or during maintenance work in the field, this jacket is built to perform reliably under sustained exposure to moisture without restricting freedom of movement.
The outer material is PU coating on a polyester backing, weighing around 190 g/m², and it has been given a stretch finish so the jacket stays flexible and comfortable to wear despite its protective coating. The seams are welded, which stops moisture from getting in at the seams. The front zip is concealed and further secured with press studs, the hood built into the collar can be adjusted with a drawcord, and the elasticated cuffs with hook-and-loop fastening keep water from creeping in at the wrists. A back ventilation panel and a drawcord hem round off the practical construction.
With a hydrostatic head of 8,000 mm, the jacket copes well with prolonged rain. It is certified to EN 343 Class 4/1/X, which rates resistance to water penetration and water vapour resistance: in practice, this means the jacket stays dry in heavy rain while still allowing a degree of moisture to escape. It also meets EN ISO 13688, the standard covering general requirements for protective clothing.
Available in sizes S to 4XL, the jacket suits anyone working outdoors in changeable weather, including construction and civil engineering, logistics, landscaping, and outdoor inspection or maintenance work.
