The Trelleborg PU stretch work trousers are built for anyone working outdoors in wet weather who still needs freedom of movement. The stretch fabric flexes with the body when bending, climbing or handling tools, giving a clear edge over stiff, traditional rain gear.
The outer material is PU coating on a polyester backing weighing around 190 g/m². The seams are welded to keep water from getting in at the joins. An elastic waistband with an additional drawcord keeps the fit secure, while the adjustable hook-and-loop straps at the leg openings adapt to different types of footwear. A zip in the outer leg seam makes putting the trousers on and taking them off much easier, especially over work shoes or boots.
The trousers are tested to EN 343 class 4/1/X, providing reliable protection against wind and rain, with a hydrostatic head of 8,000 mm showing just how well the fabric resists water penetration. They also meet EN ISO 13688, which sets general requirements for protective clothing.
