The PLANAM Major Protect high-visibility jacket is a single-layer safety jacket designed for jobs where visibility and protection against thermal hazards both matter. The yellow and royal blue colour combination provides strong contrast, while reflective piping around the stomach and sleeves helps keep the wearer visible from every angle. Available from size 42 to 110, the jacket can be fitted to a wide range of body types.
The fabric is a blend of cotton, polyester and a small proportion of carbon fibres, woven as a sturdy 2/2 diagonal twill. With a weight of around 350 g/m² in yellow and approximately 370 g/m² in royal blue, the material offers a solid, dependable base for daily work without feeling heavy or stiff. Its anti-static and flame-retardant finish, combined with a fluorocarbon treatment, keeps the jacket reliable even in demanding working conditions while still allowing freedom of movement.
The carbon fibre content helps to reduce static build-up, which matters in environments with combustible dust or vapours. The flame-retardant finish lowers the fabric's flammability and supports protection against sparks or brief exposure to heat. The silver reflective material further improves visibility in low light, such as at dusk or on construction sites with passing traffic.
This makes the jacket well suited to work in the metal trade, electrical and building services installation, municipal road construction, and the chemical and oil industries, wherever heat and welding protection are required. Practical features such as the two chest pockets with flaps, front pockets with flaps and the button-front opening add everyday functionality on top of the protective qualities.
