The PLANAM Basalt Neon Kids Trousers from the Junior collection are casual trousers designed for children who are constantly on the move and need clothing that can keep up. Available in eight sizes from 86/92 to 170/176 and in three colour combinations, they can grow with a child from kindergarten through to school age.
The main fabric is a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton with a ripstop look, while the contrasting sections use a slightly heavier 85% polyester and 15% cotton fabric. This combination results in a hard-wearing pair of trousers that holds its shape through repeated washing at 60 degrees and plenty of climbing, playing and sitting down. The generous pocket layout, including a thigh pocket with flap, a dedicated mobile phone pocket and a double ruler pocket, makes the trousers genuinely practical for everyday use, whether in the garden, on a family project, or simply during playtime. The elastic waistband and seven belt loops allow the fit to be adjusted to different body shapes.
Safety is a key consideration for children's clothing, and these trousers meet the DIN EN 14682:2015 standard, which governs the safety of cords and drawstrings on children's garments to reduce the risk of strangulation or entanglement. Reflective piping and silver reflective material worked into the design also help children stay visible in low light or dim conditions.
