The PLANAM Basalt Neon Kids Softshell Jacket is built for children who spend their free time outdoors in changeable weather. Part of the PLANAM Junior collection, it comes in sizes from 86/92 up to 170/176, so it grows with your child from toddler to school age, and is available in anthracite/yellow, navy/orange or olive/orange.
The outer fabric is 100 % polyester with a durable ripstop look on the outside, giving it a tough, everyday feel that can handle the playground or the walk to school. Inside, a soft fleece layer keeps things comfortable directly against the skin, so there is no need for extra layering underneath. The jacket is breathable, water-repellent and windproof all at once, keeping out wind and light rain while still letting body heat escape.
It meets the DIN EN 14682:2015 standard governing safety in children's clothing, which covers safety requirements such as cords and drawstrings on kids' garments.
The practical details make a real difference day to day: two side pockets with zip closure offer handy storage, the front zip is backed to prevent chafing under the chin, and stretchy cuffs keep cold air from creeping up the sleeves.
