The PLANAM Basalt Neon Kids Dungarees from the Junior collection are built for children who love to help out or simply romp around outdoors. Available from size 86/92 up to 170/176 and in the colourways anthracite/yellow, navy/orange and olive/orange, they grow along with your child and suit both budding little tradespeople and playground adventurers alike.
The main fabric is a sturdy blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton at around 260 g/m2 with a ripstop look, tough enough to withstand rough play or early workshop visits without showing wear straight away. The contrasting sections use an even more robust 85% polyester and 15% cotton mix at roughly 300 g/m2, adding extra durability exactly where it is needed most. The elasticated waistband and the braces with elastic inserts let the dungarees move with the child rather than against them, which matters a great deal for growing, active kids.
A generous set of pockets makes these dungarees genuinely useful day to day: a patch bib pocket with flap and Velcro closure, two side pockets, a thigh pocket with press stud, a mobile phone pocket and even a double ruler pocket offer plenty of room for small treasures or a first set of tools. Reflective piping and silver reflective material improve visibility in low light, while the high back with support braces and the clip buckles keep everything securely in place during active play. The dungarees also meet the DIN EN 14682:2015 standard governing the safety of children's clothing, which sets requirements for cords and drawstrings to help prevent entanglement hazards during play.
