The Blaklader PILOT is a lightweight safety sneaker built for anyone who spends the whole day on their feet without wanting to sacrifice comfort. Tradespeople, electricians, floor layers and service staff will find a shoe that feels closer to casual footwear than typical safety boots, while still holding up to demanding work. The side-mounted Freelock system makes putting the shoe on and taking it off noticeably easier, which matters when you change footwear several times a day.
The upper, made from water-repellent textile and nubuck leather, works together with a microporous membrane to keep water out while letting the foot breathe inside. The anatomically shaped last supports the foot in the right position, and the PU midsole absorbs shock when walking or standing on hard surfaces for long periods. A soft insole made from PU and leather manages moisture effectively, keeping the foot climate fresh even after hours of wear. The thin nitrile rubber outsole stays grippy and provides reliable slip resistance across different floor types.

In practice, this means the shoe is fully waterproof, the sole resists oil and fuel, offers slip-resistant grip, and withstands contact heat up to 300 degrees.
