This NTS 1/2" hose, supplied in a 25-metre roll, is a ready-fitted professional-grade water hose that comes fully assembled and ready to connect. It suits anyone who needs a hard-wearing hose for regular use, whether on a commercial site, around a workshop yard or in professional landscaping. The bold red colour with yellow stripes also makes it easy to spot on site.
The hose is built from five layers, with a PVC cover and core reinforced by a polyester yarn lining. The special knitted weave of this lining stops the hose from twisting or kinking as it unrolls, which in daily use means easier handling and a longer working life, since kinks are usually where hoses fail first. Despite this sturdy construction, the hose stays flexible and light, so it can be run out over longer distances and coiled back up without a fight.
Inside, a black anti-algae layer keeps algae from forming within the hose, which matters especially during longer storage or outdoor use. On the outside, a dedicated UV coating protects the material from fading and premature brittleness caused by sun exposure.
