The Norway S5 waders are a one-piece combination of bib overalls and boots, built for work in or around water, wetlands, or heavy exposure to moisture from outside. Anyone regularly working along shorelines, in fishing, sewer construction, or on flooded ground gets a solution here where legs and feet stay dry throughout, since there's no open seam between trousers and footwear.
The material is PVC on a polyester backing fabric with a weight of 600 g/m², a rugged combination that holds up well even under frequent contact with water, mud, or rough, sharp-edged surfaces. The seams are welded rather than stitched, which prevents leaks exactly where needle holes would otherwise cause problems. The straps are individually adjustable via plastic buckles, so the overalls fit comfortably over extra layers or different body types. The boots themselves have a PVC shaft and a PVC/nitrile sole, giving good grip on wet and uneven ground.
Foot protection comes from a corrosion-free steel toe cap with a steel midsole, which places the boots in protection class S5 SRC under EN ISO 20345 – meaning protection against penetration, toe protection against impact and compression, and slip resistance on various surfaces. The trousers themselves meet EN 343 class 3/1, protecting against rain and moisture from outside, and also comply with the general standard for protective clothing, EN ISO 13688. In practice, this means continuous protection against wetness and mechanical hazards to the feet in a single garment.
These waders suit work in hydraulic engineering, aquaculture and fishing, civil engineering on flooded sites, or any job that involves extended periods in wet conditions. The olive green colour is typical for this line of work and pairs well with other weatherproof workwear.
