This winter hood from Blaklader is designed as an accessory for the 4467 winter parka and the 4069 winter jacket, attaching easily via press studs. It suits anyone who needs extra warmth and visibility during cold-weather work, especially since the hood is helmet-compatible and leaves enough room to wear a helmet underneath without any trouble.
The hood is made from a cotton-polyester twill weave with an antistatic component and a weight of 350 g/m², finished with a flame-resistant treatment. The warm lining keeps it comfortable in low temperatures, while the water- and dirt-repellent surface helps keep moisture and grime from soaking through during a working day outdoors. Certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, the fabric has also been tested for harmful substances.
Reflective details on the hood improve visibility in poor light conditions, which is particularly useful when working near traffic or after dark. Combined with the flame-resistant finish, the hood is well suited to higher-risk trades such as electricians, as well as tradespeople and road and construction workers facing winter conditions on site.
