This high-vis T-shirt from Blaklader is built for anyone who needs certified protective wear without sacrificing comfort. The fabric is inherently flame-retardant, meaning the protective function is built into the fibre itself and won't wash out over time. Despite this, the material stays light and airy, making a real difference during long shifts outdoors or in warm conditions.
The single jersey fabric blends modacrylic, cotton and an antistatic fibre, coming in at a moderate 210 g/m². The segmented reflective stripes are designed to preserve stretch and breathability, so the shirt moves with the wearer rather than restricting movement. Side vents add further freedom of motion, while the round, ribbed neckline keeps everyday wear comfortable.
On the protection side, this shirt covers several bases at once. It meets EN ISO 20471 class 1 for visibility, EN ISO 14116 for limited flame spread, and includes antistatic properties under EN 1149 to reduce the risk of electrostatic build-up. The fabric is also certified to EN 13758-2 with a UPF 40+ rating, giving reliable protection against UV radiation during outdoor work. Certification labels are placed on the outside, so they don't cause irritation when worn.
