This rain coat is built for people who work outdoors and need more than just dry clothing: road and construction workers, tradespeople and service staff exposed to wind, rain and a mix of hazards on site. It combines high-vis visibility with flame-retardant protection and a fit that stays comfortable even with extra layers underneath.
The PVC-coated fabric, a blend of polyester and cotton at 390 g/m², is built to take a beating while keeping wind and water out thanks to welded seams. In practice that means no soaking through during heavy rain and no cold draughts creeping in around the collar or cuffs. The fleece-lined collar makes the coat noticeably more comfortable against the neck, while the concealed two-way zip running up to the collar, combined with the storm flap, keeps moisture from working its way in at the front. Adjustable cuffs with velcro and a removable, adjustable hood let you fine-tune the fit to the weather or the task at hand, including wearing it over a helmet or ear defenders.
The certifications cover several risk areas at once. EN ISO 20471 class 3 is the highest visibility class for hi-vis workwear, keeping the wearer clearly visible from a distance even in poor light. EN 343 class 4,1 confirms wind and water resistance, while EN ISO 14116 index 3 provides flame protection against limited flame spread. EN 1149-5 gives the coat antistatic properties that help dissipate electrostatic charge, and IEC 61482-2 APC 1 confirms protection against the thermal effects of an electric arc.
