The Fridbert is a multi-norm rain jacket designed for anyone working outdoors in demanding weather who also needs to stay visible and protected. It covers several hazards at once: rain, poor visibility, static build-up and brief exposure to flame. The jacket is easy to identify as multi-norm safety wear thanks to the emblems on the left upper arm, which show its combined protective functions at a glance.
The outer material is PU coated on a polyester carrier fabric weighing around 230 g/m², making the jacket extremely light and flexible. In everyday use that translates into a soft, comfortable feel that doesn't restrict movement. The seams are double-welded and the reflective strips are welded rather than sewn on, avoiding extra stitching that could otherwise become a weak point. The fabric also stretches lengthwise and widthwise for easier movement on the job, and with a hydrostatic head of 8,000 mm it is both windproof and waterproof while still remaining breathable.
The hi-vis protection meets EN ISO 20471 class 3, the highest visibility class for warning clothing, ensuring strong visibility in daylight and under headlights. EN 343 class 4/1/X provides a high level of protection against rain penetration combined with good breathability. Flame-retardant protection to EN ISO 14116 index 1 stops the fabric from continuing to burn after brief contact with an open flame, while the antistatic finish to EN 1149-5 helps reduce the risk of electrostatic charge. EN ISO 13688 is the general base standard for protective clothing. Practical features such as the concealed front zip with extra press-stud fastening, the hood with an internal drawcord, and the adjustable press-stud cuffs round out the design.
This makes the Fridbert well suited to road work, traffic control, emergency services or construction sites, wherever visibility, weather protection and protection against thermal and electrostatic hazards all matter at once. The jacket is supplied in a pack of 10, making it a practical choice for equipping larger teams.
