This Blaklader coverall is designed for work environments where several hazards can occur at once: heat, flames, arc flash, chemicals and poor visibility. It's aimed at tradespeople, electricians, road and construction workers, service technicians and oil and gas workers operating in ATEX-classified areas or on job sites with strict safety requirements. The oil-, dirt- and water-repellent outer fabric combined with a fit that includes back pleats and adjustable cuffs keeps the coverall in place through awkward postures and constant movement.

The fabric blend of FR polyester, Modacrylic and cotton with an antistatic component weighs in at 315 g/m². The flame resistance is inherent, meaning it's built into the fibre structure itself rather than applied as a coating, so it holds up reliably wash after wash. The coverall is approved for industrial laundering at 60°C and, according to the manufacturer, suitable for tumble drying, making it practical for daily use in workplaces with their own laundry systems. Reinforcements at the knees using CORDURA, Kevlar and Protal extend the garment's life at one of the most heavily stressed points. Being metal-free and PFAS-free also makes it suitable for sensitive work zones, including explosive atmospheres.

The coverall is certified to EN ISO 11611 for protection during welding, EN ISO 11612 against heat and flames, and EN 1149 for antistatic protection. It also carries IEC 61482-2 against the thermal hazards of electric arc flash, EN 13034 for protection against liquid chemicals, and EN ISO 20471 class 3 for high visibility in daylight and darkness. EN 14404 additionally confirms protection for kneeling work. Together, these standards make it a genuine multi-norm solution for jobs where single-purpose protective wear simply isn't enough.

Practical features such as chest pockets with concealed zips, external knee pad pockets and loops for attaching gas detectors or microphones show that this coverall was built for construction sites, electrical work, road building and the oil and gas sector. The sewn-on reflective tape is rated to withstand industrial laundering, so visibility holds up even after frequent washing.
