The knitted fabric, a blend of modacrylic, cotton, aramid, polyamide and a share of antistatic fibre, feels remarkably soft for protective wear and fits close to the body without restricting movement. Ribbed cuffs give a neat, secure fit at the wrists, while side slits add extra freedom of movement. At 250 g/m² the fabric is sturdy enough for daily wear on site or in service work, yet stays comfortable to wear through a full shift.
The protection built into this shirt is inherent, meaning it is locked into the modacrylic-cotton-aramid fibre blend itself rather than applied as a coating. EN ISO 11612 confirms protection against heat and flame, while EN 61482-2 covers protection against the thermal effects of an arc flash, rated at an ELIM value of 8.6 cal/cm². EN 1149-5 provides antistatic, charge-dissipating properties, and EN ISO 20471 class 1 ensures visibility on roads and construction sites, backed up by broken flame-resistant reflective tape.
