The Modaflame Knit FR Polo Shirt Long Sleeve is made for anyone who needs flame-resistant protection even in warmer working environments, or who wears it as a base layer under further protective clothing when extra insulation is needed. A front button placket and ribbed knit cuffs add warmth and comfort where it matters most.
The modacrylic fabric is light and comfortable, yet keeps its shape wear after wear. Its flame resistance is inherent to the fibre itself, so it doesn't wash out over time – a real benefit for protective clothing that gets worn and laundered daily on the job. The fabric is also antistatic and rated UPF 40+, blocking 98% of UV rays, which matters for anyone working outdoors.
Protection goes beyond flame resistance: the shirt guards against radiant, convective and contact heat, and is suitable for use in ATEX environments. Sewn-on flame-resistant reflective stripes improve visibility in low light. The garment is CE certified to CE-CAT III and also carries UKCA marking, covering compliance for the UK market as well.
