The Modaflame FR softshell jacket is built for professionals working in explosive or fire-hazard environments who still need genuine comfort on the job. Part of the Modaflame Softshell collection, it combines several protective functions in a single garment instead of requiring multiple layers. An interactive zip adds further flexibility, allowing the jacket to be zipped together with an outer jacket for extra insulation when needed.
The 3-layer softshell fabric, made with modacrylic and carbon fibre elements, is hard-wearing, breathable, windproof and water-repellent all at once. In practice, that means the jacket keeps you warm and dry through changeable weather without trapping heat during physical work. Details such as the adjustable hem cord, the hook-and-loop cuff fastening and the front weather flap keep the fit secure and add extra protection against wind and rain.
At its core, this jacket offers multi-norm protection: it guards against flames, chemicals, and radiant and convective heat, and its antistatic properties make it suitable for use in ATEX environments. The UV-rated fabric (UPF 40+) also blocks 98% of UV rays. With CE Category III certification, the jacket meets the requirements for complex PPE against serious risks.
