The BLS® ABEK2P3 R multi-range combination filter is designed for situations where several hazardous substances can occur at the same time, such as in the chemical industry, remediation work or industrial handling of solvents and dusts. It is intended for use with full face masks, since its weight of more than 300 g means it cannot be used with half masks.
The filter has a standard round thread connector to EN 148-1, allowing it to be fitted to common respiratory masks that use this connection type. It has also been tested against hydrogen fluoride, making it a suitable choice for demanding applications involving this substance.
Under EN 14387, the filter offers protection across several categories at once: it filters organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65°C, as well as inorganic gases and vapours, sulphur dioxide and ammonia, each to class 2. It also provides protection against toxic and highly toxic particles to class P3, the highest particle filtration class. This combination makes it a versatile option wherever multiple hazardous substances may be present simultaneously.
